On one snorkel trip, a large (~3 foot) cownosed ray came right up to us,
and swam around for a while. In this image, you can see its "wingtips" sticking
out of the water. Usually they flee when they see some one aproaching. It
was a pleasant surprise when it did not immediately flee.
