This is the underside of the sea turtle carapace. You can see the vertebrae attatched to the
neural scutes running down the center, and the ribs next to them attatched to the costal scutes. |

This is the top view of the carapace. Notice the interesting patterns on the scutes,
which makes this turtle easily identifiable as Syllomus aegyptiacus.
